Support for HTML5 - the future standard of HTML
Be up to date, prepared for the future. HTML5 is the next generation of HTML standard and many of the exciting new features of HTML5 already work in the modern web browsers. This makes it a good practice to develop new websites with HTML5 in mind.
Improved support for CSS3 - the new standard of CSS
While full CSS3 support has yet to come to the web browsers of today, many of its new features already work and can be used by web developers. We have updated our CSS compatibility charts to reflect the changes so that you can take an advantage of the new CSS features.

The development HTML pages and design layouts has become so much easier with the feature that allows to automatically synchronize cursor position in the code with the corresponding visual element in the preview area and vice versa.
Easy navigation between recent cursor positions in your code
Work faster and smarter. Now you can navigate between last visited places in your code using Back and Forward commands or their respective shortcut keys just like you jump between previously visited web pages in a web browser. This will save you a lot of time and scrolling.
Greatly improved performance with large files
Large files with extraordinarily long lines are no more a problem for the editor. The updated parsing engine ensures much smoother text editor performance when working with such files.
Macro recording
Now you can automate some of the text editing tasks by using the built-in macro recording and playback features.
Support for JavaScript and PHP frameworks
Get more productive with the newly introduced support for popular programming frameworks such as jQuery for JavaScript and Prado, CodeIgniter, Yii and Symfony for PHP. Frameworks are supported in Auto Complete and Language Browser.
Let us know if you miss any particular library. We plan to add more libraries in future - the ones with more votes will be added first. What is more, users and enthusiasts can add support for new and custom frameworks.
Support for Smarty template engine
If you use Smarty then this is a must-have feature for you. Smarty support includes syntax highlighting, proper *.tpl file handling and Auto Complete.

Extensively tested with 64-bit version of Windows 7
Version 2011 has been not only tested but fully developed on the 64-bit version of Windows 7. This ensures better compatibility and less glitches caused by 64-bit operating systems.
